Yuma, AZ - The Mesa T-Birds split a double-header Tuesday afternoon at Arizona Western.  Mesa won the first game, 6-0, behind a stellar performance from southpaw Matt Mosca.

Mosca went all seven innings, allowing seven hits, no runs on seven strikeouts with only one walk.

Hunter Bross provided the power when he connected on a three run homer that gave Mesa a 5-0.

In game two, Mesa led into the bottom of the seventh inning when the Matadors connected on a three run homer to take a 4-2 lead, which they would not relinquish.
