Day 3 of NJCAA Tourney is Best Day So Far For Mesa Women's Golf

Mesa, AZ - Though the Mesa Thunderbirds women's golf team didn't move up any spots in the team standings, staying pat in 9th place, the lady T-Birds all shot in the 80's today.

Shooting a rough 103 on day one of the tournament, sophomore Cheyanne Stewart carded an 82 Wednesday afternoon.  That's a 21 shot difference from day one to day three.  

Also improving with a 10 shot difference from yesterday was Hannah Brown, who carded an 87 today.  Megan Fusak put together her best day as well, carding an 81 while Taylor Gransen scored her best day as well, an 83.  

Birdying the first and last holes of the day, Haley Kapanikas tallied a score of 82 today.
