T-Bird Athletics sends three more athletes to the next level

McAleer will continue his collegiate baseball career at Division I NCAA school, Lindenwood University located in St. Charles, MO. In his lone season as a T-Bird McAleer posted a .297 batting average, had 46 hits, tallied 28 RBIs, and hit a team high six home runs.
McAleer had 12 multiple hit games this season including a four hit game against Chandler-Gilbert on April 13.
Katherine Lemish - Women's Track & Field:
After two years as a T-Bird Lemish will continue her athletic career at Northern Arizona University. Lemish was a member of the 2023 Women's Track & Field team that took home the Region I title. Lemish earned multiple region honors to help the T-Birds take home the crown.
In 2023 Lemish earned All-American honors in the 4x400m event in both her indoor and outdoor season. Lemish leaves as the current holder of two school records; the indoor 60m hurdles and the outdoor 4x100m relay.
Diane Ondobo - Women's Track & Field:
Ondobo will be taking her talents to NAIA school, Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. Ondobo, just like Lemish, was a member of the 2023 Region Champion Women's Track & Field team. In the Region I Championship, Obdobo took second in the 4x100m and 4x400m relay, while also taking third in the 400m dash.
At the 2023 NJCAA Indoor Championships Ondobo was a member of the National Runner-Up honors of the Distance Medley Relay team while later earning All-American honors as a member of the 4x400m relay team. At Outdoor Nationals Ondobo earned All-American honors in the 4x400m relay.
In 2024 Ondobo earned All-American honors for the 4x400 relay team at Indoor & Outdoor Nationals.
Ondobo currently holds three school records at the time of her departure; the indoor 4x400m relay mark, the distance medley relay mark, & the outdoor 4x400m relay mark.
