TEN MESA COMMUNITY COLLEGE ATHLETICS TEAMS EARN 3.0 GPA OR HIGHER DURING 2025-26 ACADEMIC YEAR
Success in the classroom continued to be a hallmark of Mesa Community College Athletics during the 2025-26 academic year as 10 Thunderbird programs posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The achievement highlights the commitment of MCC student-athletes to academic excellence while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics.
The programs earning a 3.0 GPA or higher during the academic year were Men's Tennis, Men's Track & Field, Men's Cross Country, Women's Beach Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Women's Tennis, Softball, Women's Cross Country, Women's Golf, and Women's Track & Field.
The accomplishment reflects the dedication of Thunderbird student-athletes, coaches, and support staff in fostering success both in competition and in the classroom. Across all sports, MCC student-athletes continue to demonstrate the discipline, time management, and work ethic necessary to excel academically while representing the college at a high level of athletic competition.
