Beach Birds stay hot in the month of March as they take down Ottawa

Mesa Beach Volleyball won their eighth match in the month of March on Friday as they took down Ottawa University, 3-2.

The Beach Birds are rolling hot as they've won five of their last six matches after dominating Trinidad State College in four matches winning 4-1 each time. 

Mesa avenged a defeat against the Firestorm at Avondale Sports Center winning a nailbiter on Friday. Kendyl Arnett & Isa Folau came up big for Mesa as the No. 3 pair winning in a tiebreaking set, 15-9. 

Kylee Pew and Madden Bingham bounced back after losing two of their three matches on March 19. 

The Beach Birds season is coming to a close quickly as they have just three matches left before Nationals in early May.
