BEACH VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS JUSTICE COLLEGE AHEAD OF EIGHT MATCH CALIFORNIA SWING
Mesa Community College Beach Volleyball delivered a dominant showing in its latest outing, sweeping Justice College in both ends of a doubleheader to continue building momentum early in the 2026 season.
The Beach Birds controlled play across all five courts, earning consecutive 5-0 victories behind strong performances from the No. 1 and No. 2 pairings and balanced depth throughout the lineup. Mesa's top duo of Isa Folau and Arys Palmer set the tone, while Marley Avechuco and Brianna Anderson continued their strong play at the No. 2 spot. The T-Birds also received key contributions from the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 pairings to secure both sweeps.
With the wins, Mesa heads into a demanding road trip with confidence as the Beach Birds travel to California for eight matches between Wednesday and Friday.
