BEACH VOLLEYBALL EARNS NO. 3 SEED IN UPCOMING NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Mesa Community College Beach Volleyball has earned the No. 3 seed for the 2026 NJCAA Beach Volleyball National Championships, set for April 30–May 2 in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Thunderbirds enter the national tournament following another strong season and will look to build on last year's postseason run. In 2025, MCC outperformed its seeding, finishing third in the nation after entering the tournament as the No. 5 seed.
Mesa has consistently positioned itself among the top programs at the national level, combining depth across its lineup with experience in high-pressure matches against top tier California based teams. That experience will be key as the T-Birds return to the championship stage against a competitive field.
With a higher seed this year, MCC enters Huntsville with momentum and expectations, aiming to take the next step after last season's podium finish.
Competition begins April 30 and runs through May 2, with a national title on the line at the end of the three-day tournament. Following the tournament will be an ingruial pairs tournament that Mesa will also compete in.
