HESSE NAMED ACCAC DII PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Mesa Community College sophomore Daniel Hesse has been named the ACCAC Division II Baseball Pitcher of the Week after a dominant start against Glendale.

Hesse threw seven scoreless innings, allowing just two hits while striking out 10. He faced 26 batters and issued one walk in the victory.

Hesse is now 3-0 this season with a 1.80 ERA, the third-best mark among ACCAC Division II pitchers, and his 29 strikeouts lead the conference.
