HESSE NAMED NJCAA DII PITCHER OF THE WEEK

MCC Baseball ace Daniel Hesse added another honor to his collection this week as he was named the NJCAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week in addition to his ACCAC honor. 

Hesse threw seven scoreless innings, allowing just two hits while striking out 10 against Glendale Community College. He faced 26 batters and issued one walk in the victory.

Hesse is now 3-0 this season with a 1.80 ERA, the third-best mark among ACCAC Division II pitchers, and his 29 strikeouts lead the conference.
