CIRELLI REACHES 1,100 CAREER WINS AT MESA
On Wednesday March 25, Tony Cirelli added another milestone to an already historic career, earning his 1,100th career victory as head coach of Mesa Community College Baseball.
Cirelli, who has led the Thunderbirds since 1995, has built one of the premier junior college programs in the country through nearly three decades of sustained success. His tenure has been defined by consistency, player development, and postseason achievement.
Under his leadership, Mesa has made five appearances at the NJCAA World Series, highlighted by a national championship run and a national runner-up finish. Year after year, the Thunderbirds have remained competitive in the ACCAC and on the national stage, establishing a standard of excellence within the program.
Reaching 1,100 wins is a reflection of both longevity and impact. Cirelli's ability to develop talent, maintain winning seasons, and keep Mesa among the top programs in NJCAA baseball has been a cornerstone of his career.
With the milestone victory, Cirelli continues to add to a legacy that has shaped Mesa baseball for over 30 years and counting.
