Mesa, AZ - On day three of the Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout, the Mesa Thunderbirds lost to the College of Southern Idaho, 79-72.
Trailing for most of the game, Mesa battled back late in the second half but the Golden Eagles secured the victory with free-throws.
The T-Birds went 1-2 in the tournament and now have an overall record of 9-5. Mesa will play again next Saturday, January 4th at home when they host Pima at 4 pm.
