Mesa Community College Men's Basketball rolled to a 104–58 road win over Phoenix College on Wednesday, improving to 11-7 overall and 5-5 in ACCAC play while boosting its ACCAC DII postseason chances.
Mesa shot 53.0% from the field, 45.8% from three, and 85.2% at the line, piling up 28 assists and forcing 18 turnovers. The T-Birds led by 21 at halftime and outscored Phoenix 54–29 after the break .
Denali McNeal scored 27 points with five threes and an 8-for-8 mark at the line. Tyreek Dean added 15 points and nine rebounds, Mike Alexander posted a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double, and Ezias Steffen handed out nine assists .
The result keeps Mesa tied for the No. 4 seed with Glendale Community College and Scottsdale Community College.
Next up, Mesa hosts undefeated No. 5 Pima Community College on Saturday.
