Men's Golf Wraps Up Season with 15th-Place Finish at NJCAA DII Men’s Golf National Championships

Competing against the nation's top junior college golfers, the MCC Men's Golf team closed out their 2025 season with a 15th-place finish at the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship, held at Swan Lake Golf Resort in Plymouth, IN.

The four-day tournament tested players with challenging conditions and a demanding course layout. As a team the T-Birds shot +96 in the event as they improved their score with each passing round. 

Sophomore Kush Shah led the charge for Mesa, carding a +25 over four rounds to place 56th individually. He was steady throughout the week and delivered a performance that paced the team.

Right behind him was Tanner Thompson, who shot a +26 which earned him 62nd place. Luke Stephens finished 84th with a +30, while Ross Kocsis rounded out the team scoring in 93rd after shooting +33.
