MEN'S GOLF HOLDS SECOND ENTERING FINAL ROUND OF REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS

Mesa Community College Men's Golf remains in contention after round three of the NJCAA Region I Men's Golf Championships, sitting second overall at +31.

South Mountain holds the team lead at +2, while Chandler-Gilbert (+43) and Paradise Valley (+49) round out the standings.

Kush Shah leads the way for the Thunderbirds, sitting fourth overall at +2 through three rounds.

Mesa adds depth behind him, with Tanner Thompson in seventh at +7 and Treyton Moss in eighth at +9, giving the Thunderbirds three golfers inside the top 10. Nathan Giles is also contributing in 17th at +24.

With multiple players in scoring position, Mesa enters the final round with an opportunity to close the gap and make a push for the title.

The final round of the Region I Championships is set for Thursday at Ocotillo Golf Course.
