THUNDERBIRD MEN’S GOLF SET TO OPEN PLAY AT NJCAA DII NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Mesa Community College men's golf team is set to begin competition at the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championships at Swan Lake Resort Golf Course in Plymouth, Indiana.

The multi-day national championship event brings together some of the top NJCAA Division II programs from across the country as the Thunderbirds look to compete against the nation's best on one of the premier championship stages in junior college golf.

Mesa enters the tournament with a lineup featuring Tanner Thompson, Kush Shah, Nathan Giles, Trey Moss, and Madden Hall.

Round one tee times for the Thunderbirds are listed below (all times MST):

The Thunderbirds arrive at nationals after a strong spring campaign that included a runner-up finish at the NJCAA Region I Championships. Kush Shah paced Mesa throughout the postseason, earning a fourth-place individual finish at regionals to help guide the T-Birds to a national tournament berth.
