Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's soccer team fell Saturday night to the Phoenix College Bears, 1-0, in overtime.
More of a defensive match on both sides, Mesa just couldn't create much offensive attack. The same could be said about the PC attack as well but it was a penalty kick from about 35 yards out during the first couple minutes of overtime that solidified a Bear victory over Mesa.
Mesa moves to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in ACCAC play. The T-Birds will be back in action next Thursday night at home vs the Scottsdale Artichokes.
