MICKELSON CLAIMS ACCAC MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK HONORS

 Mesa Community College pole vaulter Michael Mickelson has been named the ACCAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week following a first-place finish in the pole vault.

Mickelson cleared 4.93 meters to win the event, a mark that currently ranks No. 3 nationally at the NJCAA Division I level. His clearance represents one of the top vaults in the conference this season.

Mickelson's performance adds to a strong week for Mesa field athletes and highlights the Thunderbirds' presence at the national level in vertical jumps.
