JADEN LAFFITTE BREAKS SCHOOL RECORD IN 200M

Mesa Community College sophomore sprinter Jaden Laffitte etched his name into the Thunderbird record book after breaking the program's indoor 200 meter record, clocking a time of 21.19 seconds at the CAC Indoor Invitational.

Laffitte's performance surpassed the previous mark of 21.29, set by former MCC standout Darius Brown, and continues a strong indoor season for the T-Birds' sprint group. The time places Laffitte among the top competitors in the ACCAC and positions him as a key contender heading toward the NJCAA Indoor National Championships.
