Baker and Schnepf Named ACCAC Cross Country Runners of the Week

Mesa Community College's cross country program once again swept the ACCAC Division II Runner of the Week awards, as Olivia Baker and Cal Schnepf were both recognized for their efforts at the Dave Murray Invitational in Tucson.

Baker, a freshman, finished 4th overall out of 54 runners in the women's 6K with a time of 22:21. This marks her third ACCAC Division II Women's Runner of the Week award of the season. Baker has also earned national recognition as a two-time M-F Athletics NJCAA National Runner of the Week, continuing to establish herself as one of the premier runners in the country.

On the men's side, Schnepf placed 37th overall out of 90 runners in the 8K, clocking 26:09. The sophomore was Mesa's top finisher and earned his second ACCAC Division II Men's Runner of the Week honor this season.

The strong showings by Baker and Schnepf highlight Mesa's consistency at the top of the conference, with both runners continuing to pace the Thunderbird squads as they prepare for the championship portion of the season.
