Glendale, AZ - The Mesa softball team split a double-header Saturday afternoon at Glendale, with Mesa taking the first game, 4-1, and Glendale taking game two, 5-3.
Emerald Grijalva pitched a solid first game, striking out nine batters. The Gauchos used small ball to win game two.
Mesa will play Central Arizona at home on Tuesday at 1 pm, then at Scottsdale Saturday night, 5 pm first pitch start.
