SYDNEE TAYLOR EARNS ACCAC DII PITCHER OF THE WEEK HONORS

Mesa Community College sophomore Sydnee Taylor has been named the ACCAC Division II Pitcher of the Week following a dominant stretch in the circle.

Taylor went 3-0 across three appearances, totaling 18 innings while allowing just five earned runs on 16 hits. She struck out 16 batters and issued five walks, finishing the week with a 1.94 ERA.

She opened the week with a complete game win over Central Arizona before adding two more victories against Chandler-Gilbert, including a four-inning relief appearance to close out the series.

Taylor's performances helped anchor the T-Birds in conference play as she continues to be a key piece in Mesa's pitching rotation.
