Mesa Basketball hosts Glendale for ACCAC contests on Wednesday night

Mesa Basketball welcomes Glendale Community College into Theo Heap Gymnasium for ACCAC contests on Wednesday night.
Women's Basketball:
The No. 8 Lady T-Birds enter play with a 6-2 (2-0 ACCAC) record after their thrilling 47-46 victory over DI opponent Cochise College last Tuesday. Kamiyah Hurd hit two clutch free throws with less than a second left in the game to seal the victory for Mesa.
The Lady Gauchos enter play with a 2-6 (1-0 ACCAC) mark after back-to-back losses to Cochise and AZ Compass Prep Post Grad School.
These teams met three times last season all resulting in Mesa victories by an average margin of 48 points.
Men's Basketball:
The Thunderbird men enter play with a 3-6 (0-2 ACCAC) record after dropping their last two games to Scottsdale and Chandler-Gilbert. Talbot Cummard has led the T-Birds in scoring in two of their last four games putting up 14 against Scottsdale on Nov 23 and 32 against Dallas College Eastfield on Nov 16.
The Gaucho men enter play with a 5-2 (0-1 ACCAC) record after winning two of their last three in non-conference action over Skyline Prep Post Grad and Arizona Christian University JV.
The women's game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the door, cash only (see below for pricing).
