Britany Kogbara earns DII Women's Player of the Week honor

Mesa Women's Basketball Britany Kogbara was named as the ACCAC DII Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday. 

In her two games against at the time No. 9 Pima Kogbara went 7-12 from the field scoring 18 points while grabbing nine rebounds and blocking two shots. Against DI opponent No. 4 College of Southern Idaho Kogbara posted a double-double with a then season high 21 points and 13 rebounds (seven offensive) while earning two blocks. 

So far this season Kogbara has been a force for Mesa averaging 13.6 ppg on 57.5% from the floor while grabbing 9.7 rebounds per contest.
