Hunter, Hurd, & Kogbara all score over 500 points in time at Mesa

Women's Basketball players Ashiian Hunter, Britany Kogbara and Kamiyah Hurd all ended their time at Mesa on a high note as each totaled over 500 career points in a T-Bird jersey.
Hunter ended her time at MCC with 746 career points as she averaged 9.5 PPG her freshman year and 11.9 PPG her sophomore year. Hunter shot 34.1% from deep in her two seasons at Mesa and had a career high 21 points on two separate occasions in her sophomore year.
Hunter was named to the NJCAA All-American 3rd Team her sophomore year in addition to earning All-Region and All-ACCAC 1st Team honors. In her freshman year Hunter was named to the All-Region 1st Team and All-ACCAC 2nd Team.
Kogbara scored 675 points in her two seasons as a T-Bird while shooting 58.8% from the field. Kogbara had a breakout sophomore season scoring 470 points including a 30 point career high night against Rock Valley College on Dec. 17, 2024.
Kogbara was named to the NJCAA All-American 1st Team her sophomore year in addition to earning the ACCAC DII Defensive Player of the Year award and All-Region All-ACCAC 1st Team honors.
Hurd totaled 527 points in her time as a T-Bird. Hurd scored her career high 19 points in Mesa's opening contest of the 2024 NJCAA National Championship run against Southern Arkansas Tech.
Hurd was named to the All-Region and All-ACCAC 2nd Team her sophomore season.
