CARMELLA GALLARDO TIES SINGLE GAME RECORD FOR MOST THREE-POINTERS

Mesa Community College guard Carmella Gallardo delivered a historic shooting performance Wednesday night, tying the program record for most three-pointers made in a single game with 11 as the T-Birds rolled past South Mountain 104-24.

Gallardo finished with a game-high 45 points, connecting on 11-of-18 from beyond the arc to match the mark set by Anne Marie Batista in 2023. 

Her record-tying effort highlighted a dominant team performance that pushed MCC to 16-5 overall and 10-2 in ACCAC play. Gallardo's 45-point outburst stands as one of the top scoring games in program history and further cements her role as one of the premier guards in the conference.
