Vakasiuola ties for third in the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship

MCC's Alyzzah Vakasiuola finished up her final round of the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship on Thursday after shooting 70 (-3) and tying for third place overall.

 The GCU commit shot 287 (-5) under for the tournament and was one stroke behind the second place finisher and just three strokes behind the national champion. Vakasiuola shot 35 on both the front and back nine in her final round as a T-Bird. 

 This marks Vakasiuola's third time finishing top five in the NJCAA National Championship and her second time finishing in the top three of the event.
