Women's Golf struggles in Round 2 of SMSU Classic

Mesa Women's Golf took home 12th place in a NCAA filled field at the SMSU Classic on Tuesday.

The Lady T-Birds had a very strong opening round at Wigwam GC on Monday as they shot +36 and found themselves tied for second place. Kasey Reichard shot a 74 (+4) in round one which led the field at the end of the day. Addison King sat in 8th place at the end of the first round as she fired a 78 (+8).

Mesa struggled in the second round as they shot +71 on the day. King led the way for MCC in the second round shooting 83 (+13), Mary Tukuafu fired an 88 (+18) on day two.

Mesa is back in action at the Mesa CC Invite at Dobson Ranch GC on March 24-25.
