Women's Golf sits in second place after opening round at NJCAA National Championships

Mesa Women's Golf sits in second place after the opening round of the 2025 NJCAA DII Women's Golf National Championships on Tuesday. 

The Lady T-Birds shot +29 (371) as a team as they sit six strokes behind the leader, Shelton State. 

Mackenzie Vongphosy led the way for Mesa as she shot +5 (77) on the day, ending the round in 7th place individually. Teammate Kasey Reichard is right behind Vongphosy as she shot +6 (78) and ended the day in 9th place. 

The second round starts at 6:00 a.m. CDT (4:00 a.m. MST) on Wednesday at Cedar Point Golf Course.
