Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's soccer team fell Thursday night to the Cochise Apaches, 2-0, at John D. Riggs Stadium.

Though Mesa didn't have many offensive attacks in the first half, the T-Birds controlled the ball on their side of the pitch for most of the half.  Mesa had three corner kicks and about half a dozen throw-ins near its own goal but the lady T-Birds just couldn't convert oppurtunities into points.

The T-Birds move to 2-2 on the season and will play at Chandler-Gibert this coming Saturday at 7 pm.
