T-Birds Secure 3-1 Victory Down at Cochise Tuesday Night

Douglas, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's soccer team went to Cochise and secured a 3-1 victory over the Apaches Tuesday night in ACCAC action.

After going down 1-0, Mesa scored the final three goals with two coming off the foot of ACCAC DII Player of the Week, Annabella Bara and the other from Alyssa Parsons.  Emma Rich recorded two assists in the match and Hope Ruiz secured the victory in goal.

The T-Birds are now 6-6-2 on the regular season and 4-2-2 in conference play.  The T-Birds will have a week off before their two final matches of the regular season with a Tuesday match at Gateway and the regular season finale at Chandler-Gilbert on Saturday.
