Tucson, AZ - It was a tough night for the Mesa Thunderbirds women's soccer team as they fell short of victory in the ACCAC DII Championship game to the Pima Aztecs Saturday night, 2-0.
Unlike Tuesday night at Phoenix College when Mesa was on the attack and aggresive, Pima seized the momentum from opening kick and kept Mesa from having productive offensive oppurtunities.
With the lose, Mesa's season is officially over as they finished the season with a 9-7-2 overall record.
