T-BIRD MOMENTS OF 2025-26: WOMEN'S TENNIS WINS THIRD STRAIGHT REGION I CHAMPIONSHIP
One of the standout moments of the 2025-26 season came as the Mesa Community College women's tennis team captured its third consecutive Region I Championship and ACCAC title.
The Thunderbirds finished the season 6-7 overall while posting a perfect 4-0 record in conference play, extending their reign atop the ACCAC and continuing one of the conference's most successful runs.
Mesa consistently controlled matches throughout league play, using strong doubles performances to build early momentum before finishing the job in singles. The Thunderbirds showcased depth across the lineup, earning multiple sweep victories while remaining unbeaten in conference competition.
The championship season was fueled by balanced contributions throughout the roster, as Mesa continued to set the standard for women's tennis in Region I.
With a third consecutive Region I Championship and ACCAC title, the Thunderbirds added another chapter to one of the most successful stretches in program history and secured their place among the unforgettable T-Bird Moments of the 2025-26 season.
