TUCKER EARNS ACCAC WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mesa Community College thrower Maleah Tucker has been named the ACCAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week following a national leading performance in the weight throw.

Tucker recorded a mark of 16.72 meters, which currently ranks No. 1 in the nation, establishing her as the top collegiate weight thrower at the NJCAA level early in the indoor season. Her throw leads all ACCAC competitors and sets the standard nationally.

Gatlin and the T-Birds are back in action on Saturday as they travel to Paradise Valley Community College for the PVCC Indoor.
