Women's Cross Country Caps off Historic Year with Academic Honors

MCC Women's Cross Country continues to make strides in the classroom, earning NJCAA Academic Team of the Year recognition for the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.13 cumulative team GPA.

This marks the seventh time since 2013-14 that the Thunderbirds have earned the prestigious honor, awarded annually by the National Junior College Athletic Association to teams across the country that maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Lady T-Birds capped off a historic season with the honor after capturing the program's first NJCAA National Championship and being named the NJCAA Women's Scholar Team of the Year.
