Evalyn Perez was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and is from both Phoenix and Snowflake, Arizona. She is a 2025 graduate of Snowflake High School, where she ran under Coaches Micheal L. Johnson, Torel W. Nichols, and Alicia LaDuke. She also competed in wrestling during high school.

Evalyn is majoring in Nursing. Her parents are Luis and Sandra Perez. She has two brothers, Anthony and Tristan, and two sisters, Emily and Bella. Her favorite foods are butter chicken with garlic naan, pasta, and potato soup. Her hobbies include sports, cooking, and crocheting.
